If your garbage was not picked up, you can go to this link www.bigssanitation.com/missedpickup.htm and report your missed pick up.
Big's Sanitation is the licensed garbage hauler for Lincoln Borough. If you would need something from them you can reach them at 724-379-4331. It is a requirement that all homes must have garbage services. However, if you are a business you can choose your own hauler.
Your pick up day will be on Monday and they request for you to have the trash out the night before.
Holiday Schedule- They will run 1 day behind following the holiday, if the holiday is in the middle of the week we will pick up on our regular day until the holiday and then the remaining part of the week will be 1 day behind.
Register YOUR Rental!
Homeowners are required by Borough Ordinance to register any property they rent out with the Borough Office. There is no fee for this process however, if you do not register there is a penalty.
Borough Office
The Borough Office is open Monday - Friday from 9:00 -3:00. If you need something don't hesitate to call the office 412-751-2655.
Building permits and Swimming pools
It is your responsibility to contact the Borough Office before you start any repairs, building, replacement of roof, remodeling, paving, pool installation etc. The Building inspector will inform you of the proper permits you will need. Some items may not require a building permit, but the Borough does have ordinances that you need to follow.
Occupancy Permit
All new residents - Renters and Owners must have a certificate of Occupancy. Please call Borough office for application and fee information.
Not Sure of Something- Do you have Questions?
Call the Borough Office - If you are not sure of something for example - How many trees can I cut down, before I need a permit. Can I have farm animals - horses, cows etc. where I live? How do I get involved with the community? Are residents required to use the Garbage Service? There are many rules and guidelines that need to be followed and a simple phone call can save you many headaches.
