SouthEast Regional EMS Subscription Plan Details
A SouthEast Regional EMS subscription offers protection to residents and their families from the worry of large out of pocket expenses associated with medical transportation by ground ambulance. Our low annual fee of $60.00 (Household Plan) buys everyone in the household and visitors a 50% discount on co-pays and coinsurance. Medicare subscribers enjoy guaranteed assigned billing and no out of pocket expense for covered charges and for medically necessary non-covered charges. (Physician certification required).
In addition to the aforementioned Household Plan, we also offer an Individual Plan for $40.00, a Couple Plan for $50.00 and a 65+ Individual plan for $30.00.
The subscription program provides the following benefits:
-Unlimited medically necessary emergency transports to a local or specialty hospital as needed
-Family subscription plan provides coverage to all members and visitors of the household.
-No charge for incidents of treatment without transport, and lift assists.
-Transport of subscribers for which there is no primary third party insurer, or ambulance coverage on policy,
will receive a significant savings .
-50 % off deductibles and co-pays
-20% Discount for wheelchair van transports when there is no applicable insurance
The SouthEast Regional Area EMS Subscription plan DOES NOT cover:
-Transports lacking medical necessity, or for patient convenience. However, subscribers will
receive a significant savings.
-Transports that by law or statute are not the direct financial responsibility of the patient.
Medicaid clients are entitled to receive Medicaid-Covered ambulance services without paying a
subscription fee or making a voluntary contribution.
-Transports by wheelchair van
-Transports for which there is no primary third party insurer; Subscription plans are not insurance.
The patient remains responsible for the bill.
Transports of subscribers for which there is no primary third party insurer, or ambulance coverage
as part of the insurance plan will receive a significant savings.
